The 2011 World Heritage Sites were announced during the 35th session of the World Heritage Committee which met in Paris, France, on 19 June until 29 June, 2011.

In the 2011 list, the Committee added 25 new sites representing 3 natural properties, 1 mixed property and the rest cultural properties. At the same time, two properties were also added to the World Heritage List in Danger and one removed from that list.

  • Hiraizumi - Temples, Gardens and Archaeological Sites Representing The Buddhist Pure Land (Japan)
  • Fort Jesus, Mombasa (Kenya)
