[an error occurred while processing this directive][an error occurred while processing this directive] Afghanistan ratified the World Heritage Convention on 20 March, 1979. As of August 2010, it has two properties inscribed as World Heritage Sites. Both are cultural sites, and unfortunately, both are on the List of World Heritage in danger.
