Vall de Boí is a steep, narrow valley on the edges of the Pyrenees. Within this small area are nine Early Romanesque churches, the highest concentration of such architecture in Europe. They were built between the 11th and 14th centuries.

The churches that are added to the World Heritage List are as follows:

World Heritage Site Inscription Details

Catalan Romanesque Churches of the Vall de Boí was inscribed as a World Heritage Site during the 24th session of the World Heritage Committee in Cairns, Australia, on 27 November - 2 December, 2000.
