The universal outstanding value of the Central University City Campus stems from it being a unique example of urbanism, architecture, engineering, landscape design and fine arts are brought together in a 20th century context, while remaining sympathetic to Mexico's culture and pre-Hispanic past.
The planning, design and realization of the Central University City Campus provided a platform for a group of some sixty professionals to work together, within the framework of a master plan, to create an ensemble of buildings that upholds the social and cultural values of Mexico, while at the same time celebrates values of universal significance.
