Congo's World Heritage Sites
The Democratic Republic of the Congo ratified the World Heritage Convention on 23 September, 1974. As of August 2010, it has 5 World Heritage Sites. However all five sites are on the List of World Heritage in Danger. Congo also has another 3 sites on the World Heritage Tentative List. The country has served once on the World Heritage Committee, in 1980-1987.
