The Dja Faunal Reserve in Cameroon is one of the largest and best protected rainforests in Africa. 90% of it is still undisturbed by human activities. It was inscribed as a World Heritage Site during the 11th session of the World Heritage Committee which met at Headquarters in Paris, France, on 7-11 December, 1987.
