Graz Cathedral, or Grazer Dom, is located within the Old Town of Graz, Austria. The cathedral used to be a castle church. It was built between 1439 and 1464 by Emperor Friedrich III. You can see the emperor's coat of arms and his motto AEIOU, variously interpreted as Austriae Est Imperare Orbi Universo (Austria rules over the whole world).

Graz Cathedral was in an excellent state of preservation. It was originally on the outskirts of town, but with the growth of Graz, is today very much at the heart of the city. Inside the church, you can see Gothic frescoes depicting scenes from the plague.
