Iraq's World Heritage Sites
Iraq ratified the World Heritage Convention on 5 March, 1974. As of August 2010, it has three World Heritage Sites, all in the cultural category, of which two are also on the List of World Heritage in Danger. Iraq also has another 9 sites on the World Heritage Tentative List.
