Myanmar ratified the World Heritage Convention on 29 April, 1994. As of August 2010, it does not have any inscribed World Heritage Sites. However Myanmar has already submitted eight properties presently on the World Heritage Tentative List.

  2. Pyu Cities: Beikthano-Myo, Halin, Tharay-Khit-taya (Sri Ksetra) (1996)
  3. Wooden Monasteries of Konbaung Period: Ohn Don, Sala, Pakhangyi, Pakhannge, Legaing, Sagu, Shwe-Kyaung (Mandalay) (1996)
  4. Badah-lin and associated caves (1996)
  5. Ancient cities of Upper Myanmar: Inwa, Amarapura, Sagaing, Mingun, Mandalay (1996)
  6. Myauk-U Archaeological Area and Monuments (1996)
  7. Inle Lake (1996)
  8. Mon cities: Bago, Hanthawaddy (1996)
