[an error occurred while processing this directive][an error occurred while processing this directive] Romania ratified the World Heritage Convention on 16 May, 1990. As of August 2010, it has seven World Heritage Sites of which one is in the natural category while the remaining six in the cultural category. Romania also has another 14 sites on the World Heritage Tentative List.
