Russia's World Heritage Sites
Russia ratified the World Heritage Convention on 12 October, 1988. As of August 2010, it has 23 World Heritage Sites, of which 15 are in the cultural category and 8 in the natural category. Russia also has another 26 sites on the World Heritage Tentative List.
