 South Africa's World Heritage Sites
South Africa ratified the World Heritage Convention on 10 July, 1997. As of August 2010, it has eight World Heritage Sites, of which four are in the cultural category, three in the natural category, and one in the mixed category. South Africa also has another y sites on the World Heritage Tentative List.
